Then you should hit up Mr. Leigh Feldman (the man behind Hot Mess @ Tube, Snap! 90's Dance Party @ Holocene and the growing number of MASSIVE parties being held around town - Umm, MASSIVE II last Saturday at the Crown Room was so bananas, see the photo proof above - who is pretty much the illest mo fo us trillas know (well, that and he lets me lick his nipples sometimes), set up an impressive and extensive email blast list that goes out once or twice or thrice a week depending on how much fun shit there is going on in the city with EVERYTHING you ever wanted and needed to know event-wise for Portland. Seriously. It's that good. Here's a cut and paste of this weekend's blast from him (usually he includes jpeg attachments of all the flyers too) so you can peep the skill sets.
How can you be down? So easy. Like Sunday morning. Just hit him with an email asking to be added and for any promoters / party people out there throwing an event, holler at him as well with a description of your event plus a flyer attachment, if you have one. And voila! Party central, here you come.
